Air vest canisters - there are so many different options in terms of brands, models, and sizes of air vest on the market now. That means that correspondingly, there are a large number of options of gas canisters as well.
One of the most important things to recognize is the fact that the insurance for the gas canisters is actually provided by the air vest manufacturer, not by the manufacturer of the gas canister. That is why the air vest manufacturers and suppliers want you to be using the branded canister. The most common denominations that we see in terms of gas canister sizes are going to be the 50 and 60 cc denominations.
Most of the time canisters are coming from the same canister manufacturer, but they're actually each branded differently and their insurance is provided by the air vest manufacturer.
Note that all of these canisters come in many different denominations. For Animo, Equiline, and FreeJump for example, you're going to have a 50, 60, and 85cc option. For HitAir, you can see we have 50 and 60cc in our store that correspond to the H2 and Pro 3, but there's also a 48cc option for the Hit Air Original. For Seaver, you have two size options. And for the FreeJump X AirSafe, which is their hybrid vest, there are actually numerous options. The easiest one is actually Horse Pilot because Horse Pilot is all just one size.
You should have inside your canister pocket a label or it's printed directly on the vest what size canister you need so just make sure that you're putting the right size canister into your vest so that your vest is able to appropriately inflate and protect you the way that it was designed to.
