Saddle Strap
A saddle strap is delivered with each airbag. If you have several saddles, you can install a saddle strap for each saddle to use your airbag on horseback right away.
To assure you a reliable and fast inflation, you must always use the saddle strap. Do not attach your carabiner to the metal rings (e.g. D-ring) on your saddle as we do not exactly know how resistant they are and as they could tear off in a fall.
To know how to install your saddle strap, please see the installation instructions below.

How to install your saddle strap?
Remove both stirrup leathers from your saddle. Your saddle strap has the shape of a Y. Attach the two Y arms on each side of your saddle to the stirrup bars. You will probably have to loosen the strap to reach the stirrup bars. Put your stirrup leathers back in place. Once the installation is complete, be sure to adjust your saddle strap correctly. The rider is responsible for the proper installation of the saddle strap. Make sure to adjust your strap correctly:
• Not too long, this could delay or prevent the trigger from firing efficiently when you are riding a pony or a small horse for example.
• Not too short, this could bother you during riding and cause unexpected activation particularly whilst jumping or dismounting.
HINT: Once the saddle strap is installed, mount your horse with your airbag. Attach your carabiner to the metal ring of the saddle strap and stand on your stirrups. The elastic part of the lanyard must be barely stretched.
