98% of the time when an air vest doesn't work as expected, it's because of user error and the user not resetting it correctly. So let's take a look at all the different ways that you can reset an air vest incorrectly.
- Putting a spent canister back on a vest; it happens.
- Just putting a new canister on without actually resetting the trigger.
- Putting your keyball into a big gaping hole; you have to remember to push the piston down from the top, and then you put the ball in thecup before you tighten the bottom back up.
- Not screwing the bottom all the way back in so that you actually areloading your spring.
- Putting the wrong brand and/ or size canister into your vest.
Once your vest is reset properly, namely that you've unscrewed the bottom, you have pushed the piston back down, you've fully tightened the bottom backup to load your spring, and you've put the correct brand and size canister back in, you are good to go!
